i had my first consult with dr. scott sept. 21. his office staff are the best. they make you feel at home. natalie, dr. scott's RN came in first to talk with me. and ask questions.she was very honest about everything. dr. scott was so nice. i was very comfortable talking with him. i would recommend dr. scott to anybody. even though i have not had surgery yet, i feel comfortable with my life in his hands.rnsorry i have not updated this. i have had all my tests done. i am having surgery on november 20th. yippeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!rnand i have been on an all liquid diet for 11 days now. went to see dr. de la torre (dr. scott's partner). so far i have lost 27lbs.rn03/24/07 boy has been a while since on updated this. well i had surgery nov. 20, 2006. it was the best thing i have ever done. i will never regret it. dr. scott and his staff are the best. as of today, i have lost a total of 100lbs. i have been glowing all day. i still have 100lbs. more to lose. i take it one day at a time. his office staff are very nice, courteous people. i would recommend dr. scott and dr. de la torre. they are the best.

starting to love myself

hello to my OH family. just thought i would update my profile a bit. i have 65 lbs. to get to my goal, which is 160. the last time i remember being, well it was 163. that was in 7th. grade, whoa, a long time ago. i have gone from 360lb. to 225. i am very happy with my results so far. and i know i will hit my goal. of course, you know there are people out there "160 is too small for your frame patty". blah, blah, blah is what i say. i am starting to love myself. which i have never loved myself. so it is a new feeling. and man do i have some saggy skin, lol. but that's okay. i'd rather have that instead of the weight. the access can be removed later. so right now i am just concentrating on my health. i am now officially "diabetes free" and i no longer have high blood pressure. so those two meds. have been taken away from me. i somedays can feel a happy patty. and i am striving for that happy patty everyday.
my 6 month blood work came back great. the nutritionist was very happy with me. i go to my main dr. in july. and she told me when i was 2 months out that i would probably not get under 250. not much confidence in me, huh? you really do find out who your true are through all of this. i have been very blessed to have a great family and all the wonderful friends i have. thank you OH for being here for me 24hrs. a day, seven days a week. i have met so many wonderful people on here, including my best friend, cassandra. thank you sis for letting me lean on you.
