Hi all: had my first iron transfusion two weeks ago (one vile of iron). Had blood test eater day and it showed my hemoglobin etc went down. Not what I was expecting...anyone had this happen?

I saw the surgeon this morning to see if I qualified for a revision to rny. I do qualify and am now moving on to the next steps of the process.

So...why can I only focus on the negative--the info the doctor gave me on chances of dying/ complica

do revisions lose slower than original surgeries? Is they always true or does it depend on original surgery/when it was, etc?

also, even if the loss is slower..are people still losing the same amount of weight just slower?

Hi all;

i am new here and am from the Ottawa area. Is there anywhere that provides a list of:

1) wait times for the process (realizing that some people need different tests, etc)

2) reviews/thoughts from patients on surgeons
