PRAYERS OF THE RIGHTEOUS.....

Hi all I just called my insurance company and was told that I would be conditionally covered for WLS as long as it wasn't submitted for weight loss-isn't that just crazy.  I need to have a diagnosis of all the other things that come with being overweight....well hello....that's the purpose of the surgery. Anyhoo-I am just asking that you all would be praying that everything goes smoothly with my insurance company.  I am waiting on  a call back from the nurse so she can get all of my insurance information....and take it from there! You all are so supportatve and I thank you....even though I have only been on here a short time..... Please PRAY, PRAY, PRAY for a sistah!!!!!

Getting Started

I am attending the Bariatric Seminar scheduled next Wednesday at Columbia St. Mary's....  I am really looking forward to this next phase in my life.....

My Story

Let me first start by saying that all HONOR, GLORY, and PRAISE belong to our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST!!!

Hi

My story is the same as some of you.  I started life as a plus-size person and unfortunately have stayed there.  I do not have any major health issues, but PREVENTION is high on the scale for me.  The only problem I suffer with is GERD or acid reflux.  Enough of that!

I am a happily married woman in my late 30's.  I have the world's greatest husband-who loves me and supports me in this new journey in my life.  I struggled initially with the decision to have this surgery, but about 2 weeks ago I started looking at this website and I made up my mind to take a step of faith, trust GOD and go for it!

I am really looking forward to the support from family and friends to see me through this stage in my life!  I am in the beginning stage, but I will make sure I keep you posted!

I know that every thing will be alright-because I am a child of the KING!    (just cuttin' a little step for all that Jesus has done-is doing-and going to do in my life)
