Surgeon Testimonial

Joseph C Moran
My first impression of Dr. Moran was that he seemed just a little cocky. Over time that opinion did not change (smile). His office staff is wonderful. They are truly a group of warm and caring individuals.rnrnWhat I liked least about Dr. Moran was the cocky attitude. Don't go to him expecting a warm greeting and hug, he's more of a handshake type of surgeon. rnrnDr. Moran stresses the importance of your follow-up visits and you should listen. He will let you know after surgery when you are due to see him. During his seminars he gave the pros and cons of both types of surgery, ie. GB or LB.rnrnOverall, I would rate Dr. Moran with an 8, if he was just a little warmer he could be a 9.5 (smile).rnrnIf I had to choose, I would rather have surgical competence, but I wish I could have both, it would make for a better nights sleep.

WOO HOO!!!!
on October 17, 2007 11:19 am

Hello everyone, it's been quite some time since I've posted.  I need to get better at doing this but to be honest, I have a horrible home computer system so I am typing this at work - lol.  Don't worry, I'm on my lunch break.

I have to tell you guys what I did this past weekend, October 13th.  I walked in a 3mile walk for breast cancer.  Ok, you may say 3miles, that's nothing.  Let me tell you, it was a major thing for me.  First of all, it was all hills and I was able to do that walk (sweated like a pig) and still hold a conversation.  Of course the conversation consisted of several swear words along with "why did I do this again" but hey, it was conversation non-the-less - hahahahaha.  I am going to post some pictures as soon as they get emailed to me.  I've also been working out a minimum of 3x per week at my local Curves which I love ladies.  This is definitely the place for me.  The more weight I lose the higher I seem to get.  I can't wait until I've reached my goal weight and go on my first shopping excursion.  Right now I purchase odds and ends but no major purchases.  Anyway, that's all for now, my lunch break is over (smile).  Blessings to all who are getting ready to go through the surgery and blessings to those who are going through like myself!!!
