Headache city!! I tried to come off caffeine. I have decided to wait until after surgery and get off caffeine with the pain meds they give me.
No sodas since last week.
Just ready to get the show on the road. Getting the house clean so I don't stress over it while I need to be resting. So many things I have been meaning to do and now it is Springtime and Spring cleaning time. I will be so glad when I get this weight off and this time next year I will have so much more energy to get things done in a timely manner!
So the only people who know, that I know of about me having WLS is my husband, son, good friend and my Pastor's wife. I'm sure it will leak from these people, especially my husband, he keeps telling me I need to share this. What he really means is that he is dying to tell people, he never could keep a secret! He is so funny, just like a child!
Wondering how I will be doing after surgery since usually when something is easy for others I have a terrible time and when it is hard for others I do very well. And the meds, I react weird to meds, hope the pain meds do well for me.
I am getting excited though. Tried to make pudding protein shots, YUCK!! Orange Cremesicle shake, YUCK!!
Will try something else tomorrow. Was told to try the juice drinks and soups especially in the beginning, I'll try that too.
Was hoping to go to Dr. McGill's support group tonight but he is out of town and another surgeon was there. So I haven't gotten to one before my surgery. Hopefully I will feel like it next month and David can take me.

Had gallbladder ultrasound then visit with Dr. McGill. Bloodwork, EKG and of course they took my money. Sure was happy to pay $500 instead of so much more. So glad I found Dr. Kevin McGill he is wonderful!!
So yes, the surgery is on for 4/11!!!! Yippee Skippee!!!
No pre-op diet, just liquids the day before and nothing after midnight prior to surgery. I weighed the same today that I weighed 7 months ago and that is with the 6 months physician/nut assisted diet. Go figure. It is my time to shine!!!

4/11, I think I will change my birthday, this is going to be wonderful!!
Had upper G.I., guess it was okay. Gallbladder Ultrasound tomorrow morning, last surgeon visit and pre op blood work all in one morning.
Then on to work, of course my job will be ending right before surgery and once I get better, out looking for a job once again.  But...I will not complain. I am so happy this is finally happening.
I get giddy actually when I pass clothes, doesn't matter what size or anything. I just know I will be in smaller sizes pretty soon. I don't shop anymore, don't care to, but underneath it all I am screaming, YES!!!!
