i will go on so many different diet and could not loss the weight if i did lost anything i gain it right back. now am having knee pains because of the weight and health issue so surgery will be the best choice for me

HELLO OH I KNOW ITS BEEN A LONG TIME, HAD TO COME BACK TO THE PLACE WERE I STARTED. I HOPE ALL IS GOOD AS FOR ME AM DOING GREAT, I AM NOW DOWN TO 156PDS I CAN FIT A SIZE 5/6 OR 7/8 IN PANTS. TOPS OR MED A FAR JUMP FROM FROM SIZE 19/20 AND A 2XTOP..I FEEL SO BEAUTIFUL SEXY AGAIN, STILL HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE BODY IMAGE BUT AM SO OKAY WITH IT. i AM AT THE POINT WHERE PEOPLE ARE S JEALOUS OF THE NEW ME, SAY AM LOSING TO MUCH, BUT I HAVE A GOAL I MUST GET TO...AFTER 5 YEARS OF BEING WITH MY PARTNER I WALK AWAY,BEEN HAPPY EVER SINCE THE SURGERY SHE BEEN DIFFERENT, COMPLAINS OF HOW MUCH AM LOSING, COMMENTS ABOUT MY BODY, GOT TO MUCH....NOW AM THE SKINNY ONE IN THE RELATIONSHIP ITS A PROBLEM, I WAS EVEN TOLD SINCE MY SURGERY I HAVE CHANGE, DAM RIGHT I HAVE CHANGE AM ENJOYING THE NEW ME, LOVING WHO I AM, LIVING AGAIN ..I CAN NOW WALK IN A STORE AND FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME I DON'T HAVE TO GO TO THE  PLUS SIZE SECTION, IT HAS NOT BEEN EASY, BUT FOR TO MANY TIMES PEOPLE ARE AFRAID OF CHANGE, AM ALL FOR A PERSON WHO WANTS TO DO WHAT BEST FOR THEM, DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY DON'T LET ANYONE KEEP YOU FROM REACHING YOUR GOALS...TAKE CARE MY OH QUEENS AND KINGS LOVE YOUR

Okay its been over 2 months since i had the vsg and am seeing the weight loss and i feel good to no more heavy breathing when walking up to my 4 floor apartment, before i had surgery I would have to stop take a break and take deep breaths now i just walk up with no problems still need to workout more but life is good......and one more thing am looking for a new job so if you know of anything please let me know thanks my oh friends

Okay went to see my doctor today all my preop test was done everything came back normal or negative doctor office fax my paper work 3 times  to lenox hill did not go threw i call and was told fax not working they out of toner wow are you serious so unorganized, anyway was transfer to surgical coordinator and she gave me another fax number so everything is in.

So I started taking my iron pill because my blood count is real low had it for months never took it hate taking meds but when my doctor told me if my iron is low they might not do the surgery I started taking them this week do not want anything to keep me from having surgery, but I will take to surgeon about my

OK So after calling Lenox Hill and letting them know that the insurance company said they did not send them my clinical information I guess the BARIATRIC COORDINATOR call and submitted everything. A hour later  Nurse from Emblem health called and said am approve yes go me god is so good am so happy I can cryI got a approval number they wanted to do surgery 3/27/12 or 4/3/12 I pick April 3 that will give me time to do everything yes go me thanks to everyone on OH for being there for me in more ways than one I have to have one finally meeting with DR yatco and I will be going to my PCP to get all my blood work and testing done wow wow wow Love ya. only my mom knows and not going to tell anyone else for now because I have enough support for your.

My Story

Hello everyone my name is peeches and I wanted to know more about the gastric sleeve I am 5ft 2in and 230 pounds,I really want to have this surgery, I am waiting to get approval by my insurance company, now I have a big setback and its call hair lost as much as I want to have this surgery I really don’t want to lose my hair at all. So I am asking if there are anyone who have had the sleeve and did not lost their hair.
