« 2 Years Post-Op »

A lot has happened since my last post where I was very happy to announce that I had finally dropped below 200...

Not long after, I found out I was pregnant which I thought would never happen because of the PCOS that I had, but since the surgery and the weight loss had kickstarted my hormones/ovulation... at 34 years old I got pregnant!

So at my 1 year Post-Op anniversary I was pregnant.

That kind of stalled my weight loss, now 2 years Post-Op and 3 months Post Delivery I hope I can go back to the basics and retrain my mind/stomach to continue loosing weight.

My original weight loss goal was 180 pounds before pregnancy now I'll be happy to see 200 again...
As of today I weigh 226 I went up to around 265-268 pounds, that's almost 70 pounds that I gained through my pregnancy...
WWWOOOOWWWW  when you write it down it really makes you realize how much!

I was worried since I was only 1 year post-op with the malabsorption and weight loss that I would have a hard or risky pregnancy, but no everything went really really well apart from being very tired at the beginning everything else was a breeze and I loved being pregnant every single moment all the way to the delivery which also went really well.  I delivered a beautiful baby girl weighing 7lbs.5oz, 21"long that we named Melodie.  She's a healthy, happy girl.

That's it for now as duty calls... (baby waking up) :-)
