Nancy Marquez
So far so good. I will post more after my surgery.

The more I see her the more I really like her.

My surgeon, Nancy Marquez, was amazing! She didn't cathedarize me or put in tubes. She made a deal with me. If I walked ASAP then she wouldn't do it.

It has been a year out and I have not had any issues with the surgery. I contribute that to my surgeon. I would reccomend her and I will use her if there is a need in the future.

The Journey Begins!!

May 22, 2009- I was infomed that my insurance had approved my RNY surgery.  I can't begin to tell you the excitement I felt.  Last September I was denied because my bmi was .50 off.  Of course, I had some negativity within my family but that is Life!  Two of my siblings have had bypass so this is no big surprise!  They told me that my surgery date may be as quick as June 10th and I am so excited.

Today is May 25, 2009-I started my preop diet.  I feel as though I am very lucky!  I basically have been given phase one of South Beach.  Very high in protein, low fat and 30 grams of carbs.  This should be a breeze.
