Surgeon Testimonial

Jeffrey Lord, M.D.
My first impression of Dr. Lord, was, "Wow, He knows what he is talking about, and is sure of it." He is very confident, which is good in a surgeon. He is very direct, and pulls no punches. He explains everything thoroughly. He expects every patient to be successful. He takes the time to listen and answer all of your questions. The ONLY thing I did NOT like was he was resolute on me having a catheter in after surgery. He said I had to have it, no matter how much I begged and pleaded. His staff is awesome, everyone is friendly, and some are especially knowledgeable, having had the surgery themselves. After care is very important to him as he wants to follow his patients closely. I am traveling 2 hours to see him and have surgery, and he insists I stay in a hotel close by for the first week. He wants to be sure his patients are healthy. He went over all the complications of the surgery, his stats vs. the national stats... and his are very good!!! His surgical competence is superb. He instructs other surgeons on this procedure, and his qualifications are magnificent. If the visit is indicative of his bedside manner, then he is sure to have a great one! I am putting my life in his, and God's, hands and I trust them both. I would recommend him to anyone.***POST-OP UPDATE*** I can honestly say this was the best experience. Dr. Lord was caring the entire time. I am almost a week post-op, lost 12 pounds, and feel wonderful. The staff on the bariatric floor is awesome, caring, and compassionate. Dr. Lord has a great bedside manner, and is there to answer any questions. I have complete faith that I will not have problems, and will do beautifully with this. THANK YOU DR. LORD!!!
