On Friday I got the CALL from my program coordinator.  She asked me if I was willing to have the operation December 1 because they had a cancellation and they could do me that day...I said YES!!!!!! and some other things that I will keep to myself..lol..I can't believe it...I have now lost 50 pounds since July 27th...I feel wonderful, like a new woman...
What makes this even more special for me, its that exactly that same day, I had decided that I was fine with waiting to have the surgery as I will be starting working end of January and the  bariatrics program coordinator told me herself that she did not think my surgery was going to happen in December...I had made up my mind to keep on going, losing weight, exercising, working on my emotional issues, ect....
So December 1, if everything is OK at the Pre op appt, I will be on that LOSERS BENCH!!!!!  Wow

Today I had my last Psych Evaluation....it went good!!!!  The great news is that I went to my doctors office and got weighed and I am at goal weight to have the surgery....so I called my surgeons office and actually emailed him to let him know.  If I go by my home scale, I have lost 40 pounds since July 27th of this year...it has made a world of difference...I can walk, put on my shoes, socks....Yes, it is work but sooooo worth it.  I hope everyone is doing good in their journey, Dama

I am finally getting on with the program...I was actually kicked out of the program for not doing anything and it was the right thing for them to do. I was not losing weight or taking any kind of steps to show them that I wanted this surgery.  Well, HAPPY to report I had my new orientation on July 27th of this year and everything clicked in my head..I guess it is true, when YOU are ready YOU are ready.  Since orientation, I have done everything they are asking of me, I measure my calories, I take my vitamins daily and i don't drink with my meals and I only drink water. Since July I have lost 20 pounds and i need to lose 10 more before getting a surgery date and I am ok with that.  I am taking this time to LEARN my new lifestyle.  hugs to all and wishing you the very best, Dama
