Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.
My overall behavior and emotional battle with weight control has been spiraling out of control since I had my oldest daughter 14 years ago.My moods were always up and down and I was just so unsatisfied.Every time I looked in the mirror,I was like Oh my gosh! I can't believe I am so big!!

I am a 30 year old female.I am a mother to 5 children ages 9,8,5,2 and 1.So I have not been able to lose any of the weight I gained during and after my pregnancies.I am considered super morbidly obese as I am 381 and stand 5' 6" tall.I shrunk I was 5'10"..lol I have been exploring many ways to get rid of this unwanted fat.I have started the Acai Berry diet until my surgery date.We will see.....

My Consultation

I went and seen my surgeon on October 28,2008.He got me in and out in no time.All he asked me was what happened to me back in 2006.I told him well pregnancy is what happened to me I had a baby.He said well that WILL keep you from coming in.He said nothing has changed other than my gaining 4 lbs.Which is not bad considering going away for 2 years and having a baby within those 2 years.So he sent me over to insurance claims and she said all I need is a doctor's report from 2007 (easy,I was pregnant until august 21,2007 I have a whole lot of documentation there because I was high risk) and 2008 which is in birmingham,alabama.So all I have to do is gather up the info and then they will set me up with a class called the Beginners.And after that it is all downhill.I will have a date.Hopefully in January as I want to be able to EAT for the holidays!!!! LOL

One more of God's little Blessing

As you all know I have not been on the boards lately.That is because I had very beautiful little girl on August 21,2007. Yes God has Blessed me one more time although this is it! I now have 6 children (5 Biologically mine,1 step-son).We named her after my father-in-law and brother-in-law who recently passed away. Their name was Michael so we just added an a to make a girls name.So now we have our 2 year old and now our 1 year old.

My Story

I am a 29 year mother to five children ranging from 12 to 3. I have been overweight since age 12. I am now super morbidly obese. I just keep gaining.I had a rough childhood that has helped my obesity along.I was a depressed child growing up. I was physically,emotionally and sexually abused since the 6 as far back as I can remember.I just know I am not happy with the way I look.My 7 year old daughter is also obese as she is prone to this because her biological father and I are super morbidly obese.I know that we can prevent that but there is nothing I can do as she lives with my grandmother and she is also severely depressed because she isn't with me.My other children are just the opposite.My middle child is way too skinny.
