I have to say that I had my doubts.

I mean, I did my research before surgery and I kept thinking "I'm gonna ROCK this!", but deep down I was sure I was going to fail.
That being said, there are a few things I need to improve upon.. one of those things being
PROTEIN!
I know.. it's very important. I DO get most of my protein in, but not as much as I should. *sigh* I WILL improve.
I went for a walk this morning.

Just a quick jaunt around the block, but I just felt like I had to MOVE! I have so much more energy now than I did before surgery. And the best news? Here it comes.. ya ready?? I stepped on the scale on the afternoon of the third (when I first got home from surgery) and I weighed 264.4. I stepped on the scale today and I weighed 248.6!

That's a total of 16 lbs in FIVE days!! I realize that some of that is the liquids that they pumped me up on at the hospital, but keep in mind that 262 was my preop weight. I have been drinking enough to keep my urine clear

and taking my vitamins

. I get in as much protein as I can.
So.. all in all I would say that I have no regrets! I am pretty much pain free, the weight (at this point) is just melting off and I feel great!
Love to everyone,
