He is very nice. Straight and to the point.
Office staff is very efficient, They are very organized. Everyone seems to know what their job is.
Answered all my questions.
They aren't overly friendly, But I would rather have someone who is experienced, and know what they are doing.

I just thought I would check in. I haven't been on in quite awhile It is just to upsetting to me.
I finally got a letter from the City about me having surgery. They said that We would have to have the UNION to negociate it into the contract. So That's where we are. The union hasn't gotten anything for us since they started so I really don't expect anything now.
Our baby girl got married 8-9-2008. and our son and family moved out in June. So I'm finally able to relax till the next disaster.
I'm very happy for everyone that has gotten to have the surgery. I hope someday that I can join you, Good luck to all of you.

No News

I have no news. I'm pretty discouraged.
I contacted a Lawyer to see if I have a case and they said NO. I appealed to the insurance again, still NO.
I sent the letters to the City but so far They have just blew it off.
I'm hoping that the union will try and make some changes for next year. That's my only thing to look forward to for now.

I may be down but I'm not out....
I have a lot of people on my side and I know some of them have some pull in City hall. Even the union is on my side. So there is still hope.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield said yes but the City says NO.

depressing week

I went 3/4/08 to my pre-op appointment with Dr. kirk. Everything went fine, ready to go.
then I had to go do my pre-op lab work visit. And I was informed that My insurance isn't going to cover the surgery.
I'm just devestated because they have always told me that there isn't a problem that everything was covered.
I have 3 letters that say everything is covered.
Today I had to go to the Cardiologist to get my final report. Well that wasn't good either. I had to have a heart Cath. done. so we had to go at 2:30pm to have that done. To find out that everything is fine and it was just a false positive on the stress test.
I was told to call the insurance Commissioner and see what can be done about the approval. I'm not giving up on this I have to get it done one way or another.

My Story

My name is  LaDeana Cleveland.
I've been married for 30+ years To a wonderful husband, Harold,
We have 4 Grown children. At least they are old enough to be grown. But the way some of them act I'm not to sure.
My oldest son is married and has 4 sons. I have already promised My oldest grandson that we are going to an amusement park and riding the biggest roller coaster they have.
My oldest daughter is married and has one son. She is my rock. She helps me keep my head on  straight.
Then we have twins, a boy and a girl. Our son is going through a divorce. He has 2 little girls. That we are helping him with, Their mother abused them and he got custody.
Our Baby girl is getting married this coming June. And she has a son.
So I need to get this weight off because I want to be able to enjoy life again. And not just watch Life pass me by.
I'm very Blessed with my family.
I've tried loosing weight all my life but nothing has worked. Every time I loose I just gain it back Plus 10 or more extra. So I finally just gave up trying. Then My family Dr. suggested That I have Gastric By pass. So I looked into it but our insurance said NO. So I gave up on it. Then this year we got new insurance and so far they are sounding promising.
I have missed out on so much of life with My kid's, I don't want to miss out on my grandkids.
I can't wait to go to Silver Dollar City With all my family and ride all the rides and chase all of them around the park.
