Hmmm my story..... well, I've always been a chubby kid, but when I was 16,17,18 I went through a thin stage in my life. At one point I was down to 135 and that was about the lowest I've ever been.
Of course at 17 (cute and skinny) I met my ex-husband. We were married at 18, had a child at 19 and divorced at 22  I had gained a lot of weight with my daughter and have NEVER been able get it off.

My biggest problem is that I get up too late in the morning to eat breakfast, too busy at work to eat lunch and STARVING when dinner comes around, so I eat WAY too much food and too close to bed time.

I have been looking into WLS for the last few years but it always felt it was too far out of reach for me since I never had insurance that would pay for it and didn't have the thousands of dollars to fork out either, but thanks to my LOVING, WONDERFUL family, I now have the opportunity to have the surgery and get on with my life (skinny)!

It's only been a week since my first appointment and now that I have a date of August 14, I feel like I jumped into the tornado of appointments and I have less than a week until my surgery.... WHAT only a WEEK left OMG!!!!! What have I done????  Sorry, I'm FREAKING just a little!

I'm doing this for my daughter as well. In the last year she has chunked up a bit and I know it's because I'm a bad influence on her eating habits. I want to prevent a fat, unhealthy and unhappy future while she's still living under my roof and I still have SOME control over her.

So, my dates the 14th and we shall see how it goes. OMG that's only 6 days, 7 hours, 23 minutes and 10 seconds away!!! CRAP I did it again,Sorry
