I had been researching WLS off and on but never really seriously and then one day my darling grand-daughter who was 8 at the time, came over. She invited me to Grandparents' Day at school to eat lunch with her. Then she added the bombshell.... "Don't worry Granny, I've already talked to my teacher, and she's going to make sure none of the kids tease you about being FAT"......
I made some excuse not to go and then I crawled into bed and cried and cried.... and then I got serious....
