Someone mentioned the weight loss estimator http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/information/planner+results.php and I figured what the heck. I went to figure out where I was at. I put in my numbers with my highest weight and an expected loss of 65% and was very surprised ! This is what I found !

Your weight is 334 pounds; your ideal weight is 147 pounds. Thus, your “excess” weight is about 187 pounds. Bariatric surgery might help you lose 65% of this excess weight, meaning you might lose 122 pounds.

If you lost 122 pounds, then you would end up weighing 212 pounds. 212 pounds would thus be your “goal weight” for bariatric surgery.

Typically bariatric surgery patients lose this amount over the course of 12 to 15 months, with slight fluctuations and possibly slight regain after that. Below is a graph of how your weight might change after surgery. 75% of my loss would be 194 . I guess that is my next goal !

At the weight of 334 my BMI was 52.3. which was SUPER OBESE ! Now at the weight I am , my BMI is 33.5 which is OBESE !

The past couple of days I got on the scale and it said 212.5 ! So I'm thinking I did accomplish the "normal percentage" weight loss so far. Today it was back to 214. I'm not complaining...

Happy Friday the 13th !
The scale hasn't moved much, still 214/215 Neither have I. Haven't been walking and making excuses because of the weather isn't good either. According to my horoscope I better get myself in gear.....Have a busy week coming up. Sunday is my nephew's son's first birthday so we are stopping by for a while. Then Tuesday we are heading to NY to see John Edward. (the medium) I enjoy watching him "do his thing" he is funny at times and serious other times.
My daughter Christina and her fiance put in a bid on a house and it was excepted so looks like she will be moving out . Samantha is happy because she will be getting a bigger bedroom...

Got a letter from the doctors office. The bill wasn't paid so hubby called the ins and they straightened things out. Seems like there was a mistake in the coding for the surgery. That takes a load off....
