Every morning, I used to get up and think about how tired I was. All day, I was tired. I couldn't wait to get back in bed at the end of the day (or middle of the day sometimes). Sluggish didn't even begin to cover how my body felt.
NOW, I practically jump out of bed!
I can't wait to get to the gym. I look forward to going to the mall to window shop as I walk lap after lap without getting tired. I am awake (really awake) all day at work and a nap is not in the forefront of my mind.
Can someone say ENERGY! I knew that I was making a huge life change in having the surgery. But with every pound gone, I feel like I am turning up the energy dial.
Saturday night, I went dancing. That's right...dancing!! And I enjoyed every minute. All 127 of them! I haven't danced in years because I felt too tired and too fat and too blah.
If I can do it- YOU can do it. Now get out there and MOVE!!!

Down 3 pant sizes!! O M G !

Pre surgery I wore a 24W in pants....today I am wearing (as I sit typing) a size...wait for it...here it comes...
18!!!!!!!...regular...no W after it....no stretch in the material.....just an 18 jean. As you can imagine, I am walking on a cloud today!
I am in love with these pants...for now. Thankfully my aunt lost a lot of weight and gave me a ton of pants...18's, 16's and 14's. I am almost six feet tall, so some of them might not work length-wise, but I am happy as a clam!
Now...I am working on getting rid of my "muffin-top."

More than I could have imagined...two weeks out

Yesterday was two weeks post-op and today I went to the dr for my follow up. I am down 23 lbs from my last office visit and 19.7 lbs down from surgery day!
That is 21% of my excess weight! The dr said I am a month ahead of schedule (which is funny since I am always late).
I have been working out and just started soft foods. I feel great and go back to work on Monday.
