Congrats on making the Century Club, Robbin. I also read your profile page and LOVE your sense of humor, lol. Your updated photo is so remarkable! I bet you and your family are so very pleased with your progress! :) :) As for feeling like throwing in the towel with those 'blanketyblank" carbs, we've all been there. Just remember: "There's no shame is falling down. The shame is in not getting back up again!" So get back up, girlfriend! You've come this far and you know how to use your tool! So use it! It's been waiting for you to get back on track! :) You are indeed an inspiration for me and others coming up behind you in our journeys! I know you can do it! HUGS!

Hi Robin! Gosh, I had to do a double take when reading your message. Absolutely yes on everything you mentioned. I am also a survivor of very severe childhood abuse (sexual, physical and emotional) and dissociate as a result. The surgery has helped me a great deal to become more aware of and connected to my body, but I still need to make a concerted effort to watch what I eat, drink, etc. I also weigh regularly (daily) because it helps keep me concious of what I am doing. In the past, I could gained almost 100 lbs without even realizing it... Anyway, just wanted to let you know that you aren't alone, and thank you for having the courage to raise this issue as it lets me know that I am not alone as well :)
