    Howdy Just wanted to wish you the best on your surgery from Celina, Ohio. I drove truck for 25 years and have been to the truck stop north of Celina many times on my way home from Dallas, the Valley and points between. I had D/S one year and one week ago and things are great as I know they will be for you. Just remeber... one step at a time. Stick to the plan and you will do fine.

After 2 long years, I am approved!!!!!!

Well, I can hardly beleive that my life is about to change!  I was finally approved for Gastric Sleeve and my surgery is only a few short weeks away.  I honestly cannot think of any other time in my life that I have been this excited and scared all at the same time!

I did change doctors, so that is new and I beleive it helped me get approved.  Of course, my diabetes, blood pressure and cholesterol being out of control helped immensly too! 

Anywho... I am STOKED!!!!!!!  Cant wait!  Gastric Sleeve here I come!

THE WAITING IS KILLIN ME!

So, at this point, frustration does not even begin to cover it!  I am sooooooo impatient right now.  My insurance company (UHC) has had my case in review for what seems like FOREVER!  I was expecting to know something by now.   Needless to say, the waiting is driving me nuts!  I am finding it a challenge to stay strong and patient, but this is the way it is, so I am dealing with it.  I was hoping to be further along by now.  Oh well, keeping my fingers and toes crossed for good news because that is what I am holding out for!  

Thanks to my new friend Chris for the encouragement!  You are AWESOME!  You hang in there too!

Single Mom of 2 active boys!

Hey y'all, I am a single mommy of 2 beautiful boys.  7 and 14.  I started this journey years ago (mentally) but have decided to put my money where my mouth is (physically) for health reasons so I can live for my kiddo's.  I have alot to say, but I am not quite sure how to put it all down just yet... stay tuned.  xo Regan
