Surgeon Testimonial

Dr.Jeffrey Nicastro
I am very happy with my surgical team! I say team because my success is not the result of one person only. At Staten Island University Hospital Center for Surgical Obsesity it is a team effort that makes this program successful!rnDr.'s Coppa, Nicasto & McMullen are all fine surgons who are ver competent. I would highly reccommend them!

Checking in with everyone!  Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers!

I had my Extended TT at Mt. Sinai Hospital in NYC on Wednesday morning at 9:00AM. My wonderful surgeon was Dr. Matthew Schulman of Madison Avenue Plastic Surgery.

First, let me begin by saying what a professional and courteous hospital staff.  I was a bit nervous because I didn't hear the best about Mt. Sinai...but they were wonderful!  My procedure went off on time and without any problems!

As soon I was feeling up to it I was discharged (around 4PM) I couldn't wait to get home to rest in my own house!

I feel pretty good.  I'm taking my pain meds pretty regularly.  They have been keeping me awake.  But I prefer to have little pain! I also have a pain pump.  One drain is barely producing any fluid.  The other one is putting out a large amount of fluid.

I have my follow-up on Tuesday morning.  Dr. Schulman will remove the pain pump and probably one drain at this time.  Looking forward to seeing my new Tummy!

Thanks again for all the advice and kind words!

Hi everyone!  I  know it's been a while!!   I've kinda been at the same place for about 6months. I need to get backon track.  I've remained within the same 3 pound range.  I would love to lose another 40 lbs.  I am planning on having a Tummy Tuck in July ('09) so I need to lose as much weight as possible!   I am looing to all of you for suggestions, comments, and advice!  Hope to be hearing fromyou all soon!!

Hey all!   I'm down 65 pounds and steadily approacing the 100 's club!   I haven't been under 200 in over 10 years!   I can't wait!

Things are going ok... except for the hair loss.  I can't complain!   I've been going to the gym about 3-4 times a week.  I feel good!

I'll check in again soon!

Things have been going ok.....  I've lost 46 pounds to date.  I feel great!  A bit tired here and there (Not enough protein).
I've been trying a few new things and sadly some have not done so well by me (eggs & grilled chicken) to name 2.  I had the foamies a few times and had to grt rid of a few things.  I hate this feeling.

I really miss some of my favorites!  But I am still working through my "Break-up" with food.  I hope as time passes my pouch will get less sensative to some of the things I love.

I really miss salads!!

Check in with you all soon!!!
