Wow it is only one week from Christmas and I am so not ready. I see a plastic surgeon tomorrow named Dr. Thayer about a breast reduction /left.  I can not believe how fast the weight is coming off I am at 167.5 right now!! I will post after I see the surgeon.

Boy time is flying by. I promised when I joined OH that I would update my profile regularly but it just seems there is never any time! I went yesterday for my 3 month check up with the surgeon. I am down 70 pounds I now weigh 190.  I have not been this weight since sometime in high school.  My blood work came back pretty good. My iron is coming up nicely with the 2 iron pills a day I have been taking but they were concerned with my potassium being low so they gave me a list of foods high in potassium and told me to try eating more of those. Over all they said I am doing great and to keep taking advantage of this period of time when I will lose weight the fastest and easiest.

I also have an appointment sent up with a plastic surgeon on December 18th to talk to her about a breast reduction and breast lift.  I am sure later on I will want to ask about a tummy tuck too but I doubt my insurance compant will pay for that so that is way down the road.  

I need to update my pictures and my measurements sometime in the next week but the baby has been sick so I have not had time. I will try to keep up with this a little better.

Sorry it has been so long since I posted but I stepped on the scale tonight and I am just over 9 weeks out and weigh 199!!!  I am so excited I have went from a size 24 jeans to a size 16 already! I will post some pictures this weekend and also post my measurements as I can not believe how fast things are changing. Thanks for everyone keeping me motivated!

Well I thought waiting for surgery was taking forever so I did not post a bunch of stuff to bore everyone. I am very impatient but the date did arrive and I had my surgery 4 days ago on July 31, 2007 also my 8th wedding anniversary. Surgery went great except doc was running over 4 hours late. I am now home and recovering pretty fast. I still am hurting quite a bit but this was no minor surgery and if you are thinking of having this surgery just for the heck of it or just to lose weight to look good you think again as this was much more painful than I was thinking but my family doctor says this is the last chance for my back and I am on way too many pain meds for my age!! Well I need to lay down I will post more after I see the doc on Monday.

WOW how exciting I officially have a surgery date as of Monday May 21 my surgery is scheduled for July 31. This is already a wonderful date as it will be my 8th wedding anniversary.  I was hoping to have an earlier date but I am happy to just know that it is approved and scheduled and I am sure things will go quick the closer it gets to that date. I want to thank everyone who has emailed me and answered any questions I have had I appreciate it. I was scared as last week the doctors office called and said they could not schedule my surgery because I had a $906.87 copay that needed to be paid and my heart dropped I was so upset because I had checked all this from the beginning and was told I had 100% coverage and I wanted this so bad I would have had the money put away but it was a mistake when they called my insurance company they said my priority health policy is the only one that does not have a copay-thank god that my husband works for the state of Michigan!! Well I will post again later.
