I met Dr. Reines during my consultation and found him to be friendly and forthcoming regarding the surgery. After a brief physical exam he spoke about the risks and benefits as well as how he thought I would do. Since I do not have physical problems (that I know of) I wanted to make sure this was going to help me not hurt me and he said it should add years to my life. He told me to come to a group session before surgery with my husband and we will. Over all I found him to be very professional. The only downside (if this can be considered a downside) is that it is all going so quickly. I'm in the process of letting all sink in.

Renee - Thank you so much for your kind words. I just started to feel a little nervous and weird about this whole situation - then I see I have a message. It really made me feel better!! Thank you so much. In less than 2 days i'll be on the "other side" - I can't believe it. hopefully my journey will be as great as yours!! :) thanks again.
