Renee, Im a new post op also, I dont have the answers for you but was wondering if when you get some can you forward them to me. I would love to know about all the things you asked. The one thing I can tell you is that pizza is a down fall of mine. The family didnt feel like cooking so they ordered a meat lovers pizza. Well I walked in the door from work and thought I was in heavan....the smells were so yummy!!! Anywho, I took 3 little bites and everything was fine, just to caot my tastebuds. But I need to warn you everyone is different. What was alright for me might not be so cool for you. I do drink cranberry juice. The new kind by ocean spray call cran LIGHT. HELLO RENEE ,, I AM STLL PRE OP BY JUST A FEW DAYS BUT I WILL TRY TO ANSWER A FEW OF YOUR QUESTIONS ... YOU REALLY SHOULDN'T EAT ANYTHING THAT HAS ALOT OF FAT , SUGAR , OR CARBOYDRATES , IN IT ,,YOU HAVE HEARD OF THE DUMPING SYNDRUM RIGHT ? PIZZA WOULD MORE THAN LIKELY LEAVE YOU FEELING LIKE YOU R GOING TO DIE ,, IT IS TO GREASY ,,SO TRY TO STAY AWAY,,, THE REASON THEY SAY THAT YOU SHOULDN'T DRINK IS BECOUSE IF YOU EAT AND DRINK AT THE SAME TIME IT WILL MAKE YOUR FOOD GO DOWN FASTER AND YOU WONT STAY FULL. AS FOR THE DRINKS ,, I WOULDN'T TRY IT FOR A WHILE , THE ALCOHOL MIGHT TEAR YOU UP AND BURN LIKE THE DICKENS ,, JUST BE PATIENT AND YOU WILL GET TO EAT AND DRINK ALL THE GOOD THINGS THAT YOU ONCE USED TOO ,,I WISH YA THE BEST AND HOPE THIS HELPS A LITTLE..LOL

Angel reporting in! I just talked to Renee Brown's fiance. Renee has been out of surgery for about an hour (it's 4:20 here) and the doctor said she did just great! Way to go Renee! I am so proud of you! See you soon!
