Jon R. Pirrello, Jr. M.D. When I first met Dr. Pirrello, I thought he was very knowledgeable on everything that I asked him. He was very patient with my husband and myself. He had some concerns about some past stomach problems, so he sent me to have some tests to make sure that everything was okay before I could have this kind of surgery. That tells me he was concerned about my health. The office staff have always been very nice and helpful whenever I have had questions. I think that Dr. Pirrello cares about his patients and he is very through with everything. I would rate him to be a very caring Doctor.

the good news.
Up's and Down's Still Well, some days are good days and some days are bad. I seem to get sick at least one time a day, that is even with measuring my food that I am suppose to eat. I still have been fighting to get my protein in. I can get all of my water in with no problem. My husband and I celebrated our 6th anniversary on Saturday, we went out of town, just the two of us, which is something we rarely do. I even got sick that evening, and it was sad. I have been doing great with losing and walking...some days I don't get in the complete hour but I try. In a few days, I am gonna add the Bowflex machine to working out and hope that helps with getting rid of my belly and helps tighten up that area. Hope that everyone on my friends list is doing well!

Sorry to hear about the problems you've been having, hope you feel better today.
I will be having my surgery next Wednesday and by hearing about your complications, I expect I will have my own.

Glad to hear you were able to get out of town. As far as the eating problems, I wonder if you ate less volume, more frequently if it might help? I have some days where I can eat normally and some days where I have to eat half of what I would normally have for breakfast and then 1 or 2 hours later, have the other half. If you're not taking a Prilosec or some type of acid thing like that, I would add that to your routine too. Congrats on all of the exercise you have been doing!

Loretta...
Happy Anniversary!! I'm glad you got to spend some time with your hubby. Those are always the best times. I know what you mean about having a difficult time getting everything in. I've been doing a protein shake with protein powder in the morning to ensure that I get all of that in. I'd rather be having a scrambled egg but I haven't been able to get all my protein in with just eating and not supplementing with protein products. I wish for you continued success. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
