well, i went to both my appts. I passed the psych eval...YAY!!! I have one more appt w/ wmp on july 10th and then I done! i SOOOOOOOO can't wait!!!! TTYL, when I have more to report!

6-4-08 on June 4, 2008 9:06 pm I had my nut eval on the 29th of last month and it went pretty good. She was real nice. I was asked every personal question you can possibly think of! I had to take this CRAZY long test that had a hundred ridiculous true or false questions on it. I have to go back on june 11th to find out if i passed... uh, oh.... scary! Then on the 12th is my 5th month wmp appt. I will have my last visit on july 10th! Then I can go back to my primary doc and ask him to summit my referal to see dr. Machado...YAY!!!! Can't wait and I'm having a hard deciding what surgery I want to have (lap band or rny) not 100% sure yet. Okay, i'm going to bed. Smooches!

5-14-08 on May 14, 2008 8:44 pm I went to my appointment on the 8th. It went smooth as usal (weigh you and set new goals.) But the real good news is that i'm back at 225lbs.... YAY!!! Weird tho. Anyways, now i'm just waiting to do those other two appointments. Kinda worried about the pysch appt, only because i don't know what to expect. Other than that just been keepin' busy working and being a mom... so i always got something to do...lol. I will report when i have more news. Smooches -Rhea-

waiting and waiting and more waiting... on April 25, 2008 8:38 pm I have my wmp appt. on may 8. My psych eval on may 23rd. Then, my therapy appt. on may 29th. All i can do is wait and i'll tell ya, it's KILLER! I feel like i need to be doing something so it doesn't feel like forever...

(9 years) and Joseph (6 years). I'm a school bus driver for the district here in town. My husband is a truck driver. In 2004 I received my diploma from Western pacific truck school and for a period of time (year-and-a-half) my husband and I drove truck all around the states! His mom took care of our boys when we were on the road. You have to get some experience behind you before a local company will hire you. After we came off the road I decided to add some extra credentials to my license and become a school bus driver. I love my job! It works perfectly when you have children. I'm truly happy with my life; except for the fact that i've been struggling with my weight now for 10 plus years! I currenty weigh 225 lbs. My highest weight was 265 in jan '07. I lost 56lbs with weight watcher and got down to 209. Now here I sit at 225! So I've decided to have wls. I have reserched it riggerously and decided to start working on this goal to a much healthier life! I'm in a 6mo (required) weight managment program in order to get approval for surgery. My next appt. with the wmp is april 10th (I'll update then). I started in feb... so I'll be finished with that in july. Then, the surgeon says it will be a couple of months after that to get all the other stuff done before surgery can be done. I figure it will be around sep or oct ( we'll see )... |
