Brian Gluck, D.O. This man is the most down to earth doctor I have ever met. He always shakes my hand and looks me right in the eye. I trust him fully. He was wonderful in the hospital and the office. His staff is very friendly and informed. Their program is very organized and easy to follow. I feel well taken care of. All of my questions before and after have been answered. I don't regret choosing this office or this procedure at all. I am thankful for this opportunity they gave me.
7/9/08: Summer is keeping me busy. I have so much more energy now. I've lost 50 lbs. I have been going to gym 2-3 times a week. We were on vacation last week so we went out on our boat for the day once, we went to the movies, we walked the channel, we went to the carnival, we went to fireworks on a beach, and bunches more. Things have been so perfect it is hard to believe. Marriage is great. Kids are great. Life in general is great. I feel so lucky. Being thinner was one of my biggest dreams in life, now I'm going to have to think up something else. I am so thankful. I did have a little problem during week 5. I couldn't keep my meds and liquids down. But I'm told that is normal between weeks 4 and 6 because everything swells a little. I still can't eat much of what my family is eating, but I am getting in the protein and I'm okay with what I can get in. Its hard filling all the time I used to spend eating. I'm looking for new hobbies. Any suggestions ? Only one I've come up with is looking for new recipes the entire family can eat. Hungrygirl.com is wonderful. They give you healthy recipes for really normal foods. It's weird how postop a lot of people drop off of here. It's nice to know you can always come back, though.
