I cried tears of joy and happiness today because I hit wonderland. I know 197.5 is still obese...but I haven't seen numbers like that in over 15 years. My health is improving and my motivation and happiness are beaming!!!! Thank you Dr. Dan and all the staff at albany medical center in albany, ny!!

Three weeks out!!!!!

what an interesting 3 weeks it has been. Surgery and recovery are painful..but the rewards are sweet. Im doing fine and losing slow and steady...just like I wanted. Mentally Im great..I knew what to expect going in due to my excellent pre-op program at Albany Med and the bad habits and the retraining of them well before surgery. Im getting in walks everyday and taking it easy as well. Im so happy I decided to do this for my health and happiness!!!

Home from the Hospital

Well....i made it to the other side. Let me just repeat myself here...this is major surgery and it will hurt more than you think...and the gas pains? WHOA!! But..Im managing well now, getting in my required fluids and such, walking and taking it easy. Cant believe Im on the losers bench now!!!!  Came up quick!!

two days and counting

Today is my last day at work for 4-6 weeks. Im taking tomorow off to get all in order for my VSG this Thursday at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY-by Dr. Dan Bonnville. I am soo exicited and cannot belive I will be on the other side soon.

I am keeping a positive healthy attitude about all things with this and life in general. I dont feel as though im losing anything but bad habits!!!

Pre-Op Testing Done

all my pre op testing is complete. It was an all day affair!!!
now to be good girl and get surgery next thursday!!!!
