My Story I'm 23 years old and have been overweight most of my life. I remember looking back at pictures of myself and think I really started to look different than the other kids in my class around the 4th grade. I've never let my weight stop me from doing what I've always wanted to do. I'm currently a travelling Registered Nurse that works in ICU's all across the country. I've thought about WLS in the past but have never acted upon it before. Recently, I've been investigating the different types of surgery and am really interested in having surgery soon. I just haven't decided if RNY or LapBand would be better for me. I guess I'll figure that out after I go to my first seminar (in June). |
