Surgeon Testimonial Howard Lederer Dr. Lederer's personality is much like my own. During the group informational meeting just prior to the individual consult, he was quick, to the point, and blunt. During our 1:1, he was extremely courteous addressing me as "sir" or "Mr." I am quite confident in his skills as a surgeon. He is chief of Surgery in the Bariatric program and takes call for Trauma as well. He trained under Dr. Ikramuddin at the University of Minnesota. The office (deks) staff will let you stand there for 5 minutes before addressing you. Heaven forbid if you speak to them while they are "working." The dieticians are great.
