Well hello to all that visit.  This is "My Story."  I am 30yrs old (as of now).  I have 2 boys one is 10yrs 3mo and the other is 3yrs 9mo.  I was always the "fat" kid in elementary school.  I think part of it was I believed the mean kids so even if I wasn't I was in the mind set of being fat.  In junior high the 'mean girls' said the same thing.  When I look back as a junior in HS I was 115 @ 5'4 (only by starving myself)what was so fat about that?  At which point I met my 1st husband and married at a young age (16).  Due to some family issues I believe that was my rush to get AWAY!  By the time I graduated from HS I was about 160ish.  I decided in 1996 to join the ARMY I was 165 when I joined and due to my marriage failing due to infidelity and abusiveness I got out at the weight of 135-130.  I knew I was the BOMB, but then about 6mo later I was pregnant.  I got up to 185 at delivery I was 20yrs old.  Eventually I got down to 150ish after finding out my son was deaf.  Between 2000 to 2003 I gained to 165-170 (on my 2nd wedding day).  I continued to climb.  I was diagnosed with PCOS and right before starting clomid I found out I was pregnant.    I was 188 at this point.  I began to have bladder issues the more weight I had.  My OB/GYN doc hoped it would stop after giving birth (it never stopped) In 4/04 I gave birth to my 2nd and last child (6 1/2 yrs between my kids) I was 235.  I did lose to 200 but 8wks after giving birth my back went out.  I couldnt stand, sit, or walk!  My doctor said that I needed to continue to lose weight gave me a cortisone shot then sent me away. But then I was in a rollover accident 5mo after giving birth.  My back didn't go into spasms or whatever but for 2 more times after that.  I am in constant pain.  My PA finally ordered an X-ray in 2005 even after I told him that I needed an MRI.  The results showed nothing, supposidly.  He handed me a script for Adipex (after calling me fat) and a script for pain meds.  I was back at 215.  My husband and I split up  for 3 mo.  I lost to 188, from a 20 to a 16.  We reconciled and we moved to NC for his job.  I was 185 the day I started my job 3/06.  By July I had gained to 200.  I started Adipex again because my goal was to lose 50lbs by next b'day the following year (my 30th)... But much to my dismay July 2007 came around and I was 250lbs!!!!  My back was hurting more.  Finally my doctor in NC ordered the MRI.  I have DDD and a buldging disk... well what do you know!!!  He still said I needed to lose weight but since I was limited on exercise this would be really hard so since I worked for the local hospital in NC and they would cover WLS 'if' I participated in their Healthy Living Program.  So he gave me the referral for that. After I waited 5mo for my name to come up on the list  I had maintained 255.  I was 2mo into the program and my husband got a transfer back to FL.  I was happy to move back home but his ins. isn't good.  I weighed myself while we were unpacking and I was 260lbs!!!! OMG!  I thought my clothes were looser, NOPE!   And then my story continues in my next entry.... ( I added this after my Feb. entries)
