Surgeon Testimonial

J. Paul Ross, M.D.
The first time I saw Dr. Ross was at his seminar. I was very apprehensive about the surgery but the more I heard him speak, the more at ease I felt. When I personally met him, his handshake, gently eyes and calm appearance took away any other fears that I had.

Dr. Ross didn't paint me just a pretty picture stating that I would lose all this weight and that it would be easy. From the start he stated that this surgery is only a TOOL not a cure.. I am the one who has to take this tool and make it work, he is just giving me the tool.

Dr. Ross was also very honest about the dangers of the surgery, but there are risks with every surgery, no matter how small or large. And I know Dr. Ross will do everything in his power to get me through the surgery with out any (major) problems.

Dr. Ross is a warmhearted man who truly cares about his patients. He takes the time to truly talk to but more importantly- to Listen to you!

I have every bit of faith in Dr. Ross and his team of dedicated staff members. They all have been so nice and helpful and I know that they will be with me all the way:)

At the moment I have nothing negative to say because it has all been very positive.

Fifty-one pounds gone forever
posted on 7/17/10 5:49 am
WOW 10 weeks out and I've lost 51 lbs. I am amazed!!! In the first 6 or 7 weeks I lost over 40 lbs and then just stood still. I didn't know what was happening and started to panic, my dr and nut.  told me it was because I wasn't eating enough calories. It was difficult for me to eat, I'd get full so quickly that I couldn't eat any more but I made myself eat more often in a day.. just a few bites here and there and I guess I got enough calories in because I am losing again...yay.. I was exercising more as well but that has to go back to the back burner for a little bit as I fell on the pavement Thursday and have bruised my left knee really bad:( luckily it has no fractures so I am hoping it wont take too long to heal but as of now it is hurting like a $&@*^....I try to walk as much as I can on it but my knee is 3x the size it should be and bending isn't easy:( .. oh well if I have to I'll just jump up and down 100 times on my right leg to get my exercise in:)

Hope all of you are doing well... HUGS

Davina
