12/28/06Haven't posted in awhile..I went to my last weightloss visit with Dr. Kathleen Annonetti. in Lexington,SC.Now I will wait for Dr. Strickland's office to called me to set up a date to have the surgery..

Weightloss management classes

9/20/06 ...i haven't updated my profile for awhile..i had to go to a weightloss management classes for 6 months for medicaid to pay anything on the surgery...i have been going now for 3 months..i have lost 18 lbs now i weigh 390.... i was surprise to have lost 14 lbs in 6 weeks..my next appointment with dr annonetti will be on 10/23/06..

Went to Dr. Stickland's Office

2/27/06 i went to dr stricklands office..my impression of dr. strickland was very good/ he seems very caring.. he stressed after care and having the tests..the office staff was so friendly and willing to help.everybody ..until the next time.

Had my psych evaluation
on February 8, 2006 10:42 am

2/8/06 Hey everyone! I went to my psych. eval on feb 8th and it went great. The doctor that I saw said that the main reason I was there was for her to determine if I was mentally stable enough to handle the major changes this surgery involves. she also wanted to know if I had a support system other than my husband. she wanted to know what kind of diets I had tried before . it was a good visit. I am very excited and am anxiously awaiting the call from my surgeon's office saying they got the letter of clearance from her! I cannot wait. I know this will happen before I know it.
I guess I am just getting a little scared at the same time. I know it is normal to worry and be a little aprehensive. I just don't want to know that I failed at this too,next appointment with phsyc on feb.24. some reasons why i want to have this surgery.

1. I will feel better about myself..
2. I will be able to enjoy more activies.
3. Be healthier
4. I want have as much pain
5. Fewer medications
6. I will have more self confidence...

God is so good to me.. i know he walks beside me and he will be with me thru it all...god bless.
