Surgeon Testimonial

Laurence K. Tanaka M.D.
When I first met Dr. Tanaka, he seemed very serious. Not much of a joker. But after seeing him while in the hospital I noticed that he does joke. I remember when I asked if I can go home he told me, \"Get the heck out of here, I am tired of seeing you!\" I knew that he had it in him all the time. LOL. He really cares about his patients and encourges to call him any hour of the day if your feeling sick or if you have any questions. He does address all the risks of surgery and even lets you ask question I took like 3 pages of questions and he answered them all. He has a great bed side manner and I would rate him a 10.

4 Month Surgiversary Today!
on August 15, 2008 10:05 pm
So today its been 4 months since the surgery, and I am proud to say that I am 72 pound lighter. Wearing a Size 16, I never thought I would ever fit into that size. I am doing great and feeling great. I haven't had any problems. All the foods I have tried haven't made me sick. I guess I am doing well so far. The only thing I have noticed is that I get tired. And that is something that I would have to bring up at my next doctors appointment. I am trying very hard to drink my protein everyday although there are days that I slack. And that is why I belive my hair is falling out. Everyday I brush my hair the brush is full of hair. Its kind of scary. I hope I don't wake up bald one day! That would be horrible. I did start to take Biotin so hopefully that will help. Other then the hair falling, everything else is great.  How are you all doing? Leave your comments! I wants some updates!
