Dr Kim is the first Dr/ Surgeon that I have EVER been to that doesnt make me feel like he is in a rush to get to the next patient. He actually came in the room and sat down like he had all day to spend with me. He gave me the same feeling in the hospital, both prior to surgery as well as the day after when he came in to check on me / discharge me (per my request since I was doing so well medically). He EVEN had the courtesy to use a pillow to cover my panties when I lifted my dress so he could check my incisions. This is surprising to me as a) I did have panties on, b) was in my hospital room and c) was only him, nurse, my husband and me in this room. He actually CARES!!! I feel like I have a "daddy" type watching over me .. meaning I am safe and secure in his care! Cant ask for more.

The day has arrived... :-)

Im not sure WHAT emotion I am feeling.. wayyy too many going thru me right now to be able to connect them with words lol.
Well  - there were some last minute "hiccups" , but nothing I couldnt handle!  The PCP I was SUPPOSED to see yesterday for my results, referral and ekg called the office 5 min AFTER my appt time to infom his recep that he was going to be 15-20 min late (well uh youre already 5.. lol). We ALL know that 15-20 min late in "dr talk" really means 30-60 min late lol.... so I couldnt stay as I had to pick up my kids from school.  So, I tell the recep I will go get the kids and come back - will be about 45-60 min (yea my time frame IS accurate lol) OR I can come in tomorrow am - as my surgeon appt was changed from 11:45 to 2:15 (meaning dont have to leave my town until 11:30a) but HAVE to have appt completed by then as I NEED my referral or cant go anyway!  She then informs me that the Dr doesnt usually "do mornings" (lmaoooo) and that its "inconvenient  for me to come back due to his full afternoon schedule and she has to leave at 5p to pick up her child.  She would call him and see if he can do a morning appt - and if not guess I will just have to come back" (hmmmm) .  But, alas, she couldnt get ahold of him to find out! So... I then gave her my cell number and told her this is what I was going to do... I was going to get my kids from school.  Should she hear from him and he ok the morning appt - call my cell to let me know.  If I did not hear from her by the time I got both my children from their schools, I would come right back.  Needless to say - she got ahold of him and got me a morning appt lol.  So I just took the kids home and let them get started on their homework (see?? there IS a reason for children.. you can be a "terrible, mean mommy just cause you are frustrated" by making them do HORRIBLE things like their homework and chores.. (or at least this is what my 13 yr old informed me lol

So.. today is a busy day as after the PCP I head to the surgeon.. WIsh me luck all :-)
