Stephen McKenna
My first impression of Dr. McKenna was that he actually cares for his patients and wants them to succeed. Even since my RNY, he is still a big part of my journey, and is there with me every step of the way. His office staff are very helpful and compassionate. Dr. McKenna loves to give hugs and treats you like family. I would rate Dr. McKenna a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best. In my opinion sugical competence and bedside manner equally great.

It's almost time!!

Ok, so I'm absolutely excited about my upcoming surgery on the 12th.  It's hard to believe that I'm finally approved and scheduled.  I have had so many mixed emotions regarding it.  Don't get me wrong, I am going through with it and I feel very blessed to be able to have this opportunity to "start over" again.  It's just all of these crazy thoughts that keep running through my head and making me second guess my decision.  I've waited a long time for this!  Anyway, I will start blogging a lot now, that way I can keep track of my progress lol.  Take care!
