They were very helpful, honest and really were wanting to help you know exactly what you are getting into with this surgery. rnrnWell, he did my surgery and was as nice as can be. Even when he had to remove the drains. That was by far the worse part of having surgery.

14 months postop

Well, my life is so different then it was just 14 short months ago. I now weigh in the 130s. Like I did in high school. Went to Walmart for pants and I am a size 6 now. Can you believe it? I do not think I was ever a size 6 in my life. I am still taking lots of Calcium and some potassium as well. I go to my PCP on Dec. 12 for a follow up on Potassium. 

My oldest daughter has now moved out and graduated High School. I am enrolling for college to get an accounting degree. I wanted to do that back in high school so I figure I might as well try now. I have never been to college at all.

My hernia is still there and not causing me much trouble at all. I am excited and scared at the thought of getting it repaired and a tummy tuck as well. I am thinking I will have to wait till summer because of school now, but that should not be a problem since it is not bothering me and I have had it for over 6 months already.
