Christmas is upon us again. This will be my second holiday season "At Goal" and every day, I continue to amaze myself.

I have been running like a mad woman, and my passion is rubbing off on my family with my husband and son now joining me (and slowing me down!) on my 5k runs. They do "allow" me to run my longer 12k runs on my own (lucky me, huh?)

They guys hope to run their first fun run in May at the Mother's Day Classic. They think it's fitting because last year's MDC was my first fun run (I had been running for close on 18 months beforehand, but never felt the pull toward a fun run before the MDC).

In August, I was featured in a magazine, "Take 5". I can't say that I would do it again, to be honest. I don't like being recognised on the street as the "Amazing shrinking Mum". It's not my style to soak up the attention that goes along with massive weight loss, so I am not sure what moved me to say "Yes" when I was asked to do the interview. They got a lot of the details wrong, and that pissed me off too..... So think twice before talking to the media people!

Everything is still fine with my band (touch wood) I am still happy with my choice, and happy with my results. I am a happy camper.
