When i first met Dr. Dallal I was so comfortable with him, he is very professional and caring, he made me so comfortable that at the end of our initial consultation i felt weird because i didn't have any questions to ask him, he covered EVERYTHING, he is AWESOME!!!! Dr. Dallal's staff is very comforting and very helpful, they remember the patient's by name and are always willing to help, Dr. dallal's office has a stuctured aftercare program and a great success rate, he is very honest and open about the benefits and risks of the surgery, and he treats you as a individual not a patient, i know that he know's his stuff!!!!!!!!

NERVOUS AGAIN!!!!!!!

I know I do not post often, but i am nervous again, lol, i am also anxious, i just can't wait to begin my journey of the new me, please everyone keep me in your prayers, I only have about 4 days left until surgery!!!!!!!!!!!

Pre-admissions

Well I started my liquid diet yesterday, I was so hungry because i left my shakes at home, lol, today i made sure my bag was packed like a baby bag, lol

I had my pre-admission testing today, i met with the anesthesiologist and went over any questions i had for Dr. Dallal, which was none, I am excited and anxious, I just cant wait to start my new life!!!!!!!!!

Excited & Nervous!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received my WLS date on June 2ND, I am so excited but at the same time i am nervous, i was starting to rethink my decision and wonder if it is the right choice, well it is!!!!!!!! so i am pass that part (until the day of surgery!!!!!!!LOL) I know that everything I am feeling is normal and I have met a lot of people who have had WLS and that has been very helpful, I would like to say thanks, to everyone, I will keep you posted, my liquid diet is scheduled to begin June 16Th, so I am sure I will have a lot to talk about during that time, lol

My Story

Hey everyone,
My name is Tahirah, I really do not know where to begin, some parts of my story may be similar to others, I have a husband and 2 children, i gained a lot of weight with both pregnancies, the  1st pregnancy i gained about 76 pounds, which i never fully lost, than i gained 65 pounds with the 2ND pregnancy, but I really didn't begin to gain weight to the point that it was out of control and i couldn't lose on my own until December of 2007, that is when i was diagnosed with MS, after that point my weight journey began
