Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.
My weight struggles began with puberty. Prior to that my parents called me Skinny Minny because I was so thin you could see my heartbeat! Then puberty struck and I started packing on the weight. I didn't get truly obese until after I had my first child though. I remember in high school thinking I was so fat! I wore anywhere between a 14 and a 16. I would KILL to be that fat now! After I had my first child, I was 19 and my whole life changed. It became so much easier to sit in the house than to go somewhere with him. I got married and had some serious bouts with depression. Had another child in 1995. In 1996 my husband and I separated and I ended up getting divorced. Because of that, I had to work for the first time in a long time and I worked at...
