6 Months Post-Op

So the beginning of this month was my 6 month Post-Op "anniversary" lol I have lost around 60 pounds :) I finally got some new clothes too. haha I had been putting that off and just wearing my baggy clothes and some old one's I had in my closet. So having the new clothes has me excited. I'm ready for the next 6 months to be over with just to see where I have gotten. Gah I'm so excited!! lol anyways.. I went a couple weeks ago for an adjustment and I'm at 4.7 cc's at the moment..

First Fill

So I had my first fill since my surgery about a week ago.. that was a weird experience lol... As of the past few days I've lost around 40 pounds.. which I'm excited about but I don't see it... other than in the numbers on the scale... idk really what else to write...... guess I'll close for now..

Still excited

So I found out the other day from my doctor's office that they scheduled my surgery during a week that my doctor is on vacation.. So now it's a week later lol... So now it's in like 21 days.. I'm too impatient lol but I'm still excited just ready for it to be here!!!

Ok So I haven't written a blog on here since becoming a member.. Guess I've never really known what to say... But ever since moving to California in June I've been trying to have WLS. I found out October 5th that my insurance has approved me for surgery! I'm so excited/nervous/scared/anxious/every other emotion pretty much lol... I'm scheduled to have my lap band surgery October 28th :)  In 3 days I go see my dietician. Gosh I wish these 18 days would hurry and pass. I'm so ready to do this and I'm ready for the challenge and want to prove people wrong that tell me this is the easy way out. I may not have had the surgery yet, but I do know that this is not the easy way out. Either way I am determined, and I will do this.

My Story

Ok, So my name is Sara. I am almost 26 and was born and raised in Oklahoma, But as of June 2010 I live in California. I have been married almost 4 years to Kyle and we have a 4 year old daughter, Alexis. My husband is in the Marine Corps. I've struggled with my weight for at least the past 10 years. And as of October 5th 2010, I have found out I am approved to have surgery! :) I'm so ready to take this on!
