    Well it has been awhile since I last updated it has now been 1year and 2 days since surgery and I am now down 95 lbs from a size 22 to a size 8 just bought new shorts today and could not believe I got into a size 8 haven't been that small since I was 17. Feeling good little bit of sagging skin but I would do it all over again to feel this good. Just being able to walk around the block without huffing and puffing is wonderful. Going for my 1 tear check up on the 9th hopefully good news.

    5 months post op lost 63 lbs everyone says they can't believe how great I look feeling good seems like I am eating more than I use to but still loosing. SF pops are my favorite food now.

    Well its been an interesting road thus far, can't complain actually except for a little ulcer that flared up about a month ago. Few meds and I am good as new. Down 49.5 lbs now gone from a 22 to a size 16. Feeling so much better with so much more energy I should have done this years ago. Going for my 3 months check up in the am so its off to bed for me. My Story

Well here it is my 3rd year after surgery I am staying around 150lbs.  I cannot say enough good about gastric by-pass. It was the best thing I have ever done for myself. Even though it did not cure my back it sure helped.  Now I just eat in moderation and I know when to stop.  I listen to my stomach.  My sister-in-law is now wanting to have one as she has a bad back too.  For anyone out there just thinking about it, stop thinking and do it you will not regret it.  Again the surgery is just a tool and you have to put forth the effort but I have never regretted a minute since.
