David Lautz
The surgeon was very professional. His office staff is great. His adminstrator is a little rough around the edges but knows her job and is alot a fun. The office staff overall are very nice and professional. The program is very well structured and focuses on presurgery and aftercare. They have a program that is focused on wholistic comprehsive care. They have a hotline manned by R.N.s and N.P.s rnThe surgery risks were explained at the information session which is required of all patients and at the initial consult. I was given many occasions to ask questions. They also gave extensive reading material both times. rnI would rate him and the program excellent.

The wait is on...

I have a surgery date of 4/6/2012. I must say I am much more nervious about this surgery. I am a little freaked out they are taking 85% of my stomach...Although I am sure the part they remove would make a great piece of luggage. About the size of a carryon bag. My eating has been off the chart !! Since I had the band undone WHOO HOOH !! I have had a party...non-stop like I was living on a cruise ship on the buffet dack.. Alas this is coming to an end...because I start the dreaded liquid diet tomorrow.....Well I can look forward to being away from my horrid job (love my work as a child Psych nurse....worn out by all the drama). I am so happy I willl be in Florida. I am going to stay at our mobile home. The Park is beautiful...and it is the most wonderful place to walk. I will be bummed that I will not be able to swim...but all in time. My husband is also going to be off the month !!! It will nice to be a place where there is less temptation to eat something I should not post surgery.
I am getting my supplies in order. Russell (my husband) and Kristal (our close friend and roommate) have read all of the liturture I have handed them....Now order protien shakes, vitamins....get my head around what I am haveing done.....EASY...Right????
