Surgeon Testimonial

J.K. Champion M.D. F.A.C.S
Dr Champions staff was very friendly and professional. I received all of the answers to my questions from Dr. Champion and enjoyed getting to talk to him before surgery. I felt confident going into surgery because of the positive comments on his surgical skills my research generated. One of the nicest or prehaps most validating compliments was from a nurse at the hospital after my surgery. She wished he would do surgery on her sisiter. That was a good indicator of the quality of doctor he is since she works with many other doctors.

Six Month Check Up
I had my six month checkup on April 24th. I have lost 55 pounds. Dr. Champion said that was close to a 75% weight loss and at 6 month I should only be at about a 50 % weight loss.  However, all of my blood work looked good. He told me I could expect to lose another 25 pounds. That would make me weigh around 120 and I would be under weight. That is inconceivable to me.  He wants me to eat a protein bar each day in addition to my regular meals to help slow the weight loss. I feel wonderful and my energy level is high. I am so glad I had this surgery.

Hearing of your success just gets me all excited. I am down to 168 in 4 short months. And a loss of 58 lbs. I would really be happy around where you are now. I am losing very slowly, but consistently. Still wearing around a 14/16 depending on the brand. You know I have these hips! Think of you often! Lesleigh
