Halloween Costume shopping
on October 25, 2009 2:27 pm
Jut another way to reinforce that I NEED help with weight loss. I cant go to a store and buy a costume. I have to sew/make one at home. Sigh... its pathetic.

Halloween is my favorite holiday...and again though I've gone down four dress sizes its not enough to buy off the rack.

This morning
on October 14, 2009 7:34 am
I start my day at 545ish.

My cat yells at me bc she's excited I'm awake and she is underfoot until i get into the shower.

I get up, I turn the tv on, I check Kiki's  food and water, pull my lunch out of the fridge (which today is roasted paprika chicken and squash with greek seasoning), go back to my room listen to the weather as I pick out clothes and fumble around.

In the shower I think about my day. Is it overwhelming, is it task driven? etc.

Clothing:
Today I chose to wear my Autumn suit. Its got a burnt orange top button down front and  a brown skirt with pleated skirting. Its a size 24 and fits perfectly.   I am starting to notice that all my 24s are fiting perfectly. Which is a good thing. Because in March I was a solid 28 and so very sad about it.

Today I have a training session to teach, and this will be the 2nd attempt at completing it on my own. Before I had to call in the reinforcements. I have a good feeling about today.  I've been in this job for 6 months, and though I know the material, the powerpoint that goes along with it changes and gets me off track when it  or the person controlling it doesnt know how to use Webex. Ugh.

Taking the stairs.

I took it up and down today. I got winded on the landing before the 3rd floor the first time up. Down is always fine. I got winded the 2nd time up on the landing of the 3rd floor. So bonus! I've been taking the stairs all week so far. I hope to make this a regular routine. I gave myself an exception... if my hands are full I can take the elevator. I work on the 4th floor.

Relationshp:

I talked to Lisa last night (gf) and that is what I needed. I just need to talk to people that I have conflict with. It makes me feel so much better. Lisa shut down Monday night. She didnt move, didnt talk, didnt seem to breath. IT was very upsetting. I didnt know what to do with that. When the issue was communication...she didnt communicate. How frustrating.

So far thats today. Updates to come, i'm sure. I love blogging.
