On my way to VSG

Moving ahead and lots has changed since my last blog.  I found a great surgeon in my area and have a surgery date (AUGUST 11)!  I am working on loosing 15 pounds before the date, which is a little scary.  I am excited and anxious and can not wait to get started on my journey!  Starting full liquid diet on Thursday.....

Long Hard Week

Attended my second weight loss seminar Tuesday night!  My insurance had "supposedly" loosened the restrictions r/t WLS so I hoped that I would be covered.  NOPE, no accepted co-morbidities.  Hurts so bad... I actually cried.  Cash pay is feasible for me financially, however.... my husband doesn't get it.  He has never struggled with weight and I honestly feel that deep down that he thinks I could just loose this extra 95 pounds that I carry.  Trying to help him understand the disease of obesity is so difficult.
