I would like to thank those who have been giving me support on the upcoming surgery date of 8/21, but unfortunately my surgery was postponed  due to some health problems. I hope to be rescheduled soon.

Thanks, Lynn

My Story

Hi, My story began on November. 29, 2007. I entered the medical center with enthusiasm and anticipation, because I was there
to change my life FOREVER!!!! I actually had complications before the wls, I had a huge hernia which had to be fixed before i was able to have the wls.my actual wls was on the 3rd of December 2007. I ended up being in the hospital 2 1/2 months.
Even though my road was a rough one, I wouldn't have passed it up for the world. My BMI was 84.5 then and now it's 54.5, I'm still morbidly obese, but feel sooo much better. I am only half way there, but still losing weight. I didn't have the RNY, I ended up having the Gastric Sleeve. Dr. Farhan is a saint in my book. This surgery has changed my life completely, I can walk more than 10 feet without getting out of breath, diabetes what diabetes? It's totally under control, no more injections!
I still have a long way to go, but coming from 468lbs down to 296, Yes it has all been worth it!
