My Story

I had LAP-rounx-en-y surgery done Monday, 2/22/2010. Everything went very well. I was released to go home Tuesday, but was unable to come back to work til Friday due to the severity of pain and control of the Pain meds. Today is Saturday and my first day without pain meds was Friday, the early afternoon got to be very painful but didn't want to take anything and then drive home. The Oxcicodone that they have me on make me feel very drowsy and I don't like to be that way at work. Last night I did drive directly home and goto be with the meds which made me able to warm up and get comfortable and get some rest. I will probably due the same this evening, very tired again today Saturday. I had Tomato basil soup last night for supper (1/2) can and felt only a little bloated. The warm fluid really soothed my somach. I am also very paramoid about blood clots in my calfs. My right one feels a little different but has no pain. I stumbled on a recipe today, Dutch chocolate baratric drink with black cherry fat free yogurt, then frozen. I can kind of imagine a gourmet type ice cream when I eat it. Any way so far so good. 2 1/2 hour left of work.  Shawn311
