Surgeon Testimonial

David C. Voellinger, MD, FACS, FASMBS
My first impression of Dr. Voellinger was a great one. He's straight-forward, informative, and shows a genuine desire to listen and help. I was referred to him from another surgeon who no longer performs RNY. He stream lined the patient process and accepted all paperwork as is from my old surgeon. Others in my area weren't willing to do so-meaning me starting over from square one!. His staff is great as well. He clears time to see each patient through every step of the way from the initial consult-through recovery-and through all post op visits. He is also determined to promote long term success and has a dedicated post-op team that work with you beyond the surgery date. He communicated all aspects of the surgery good and bad-no tables were left unturned. I rate him as a 10.

My Story

I'm a mother of 1 son, and weight has been a lifelong issue. My "slightly older" ; ) sister battles hers as well. I watch my mom daily go thru her harsh routines beginning with millions of pills and ending with her sleep apnea mask at night. My decision came from fear of heatlh conditions to come and out of love for my son. I want to be the type of fun, free-spirited person he needs me to be. At 31 it's time for me to make a lifestyle change for the better. What better time do I have to do so than now?
