I now have my appointment for my initial consultation for the LapBand Surgery with Dr. Farries in Red Deer Alberta on November 29, 2010.  I am excited and nervous all at the same time.  I have been thinking about this for so long now and to know that it is only 2 months away, I can hardly contain myself.  I know the road is going to be long and hard at times, but I know I will be able to achieve what I want to achieve. 
My goal weight is 150lbs.  I know I can do it.  I want to feel good about the way I look instead of ashamed of it. 
I hope I will be able to make friends on here because I know I will need the support of them to help me through this journey.
