Approved! Date is Oct. 4th, 2010 for VSG!

I got the call this morning (Sept. 14th) and I am approved!  I am so excited.  You are working toward this...the seminars, the nutritionalist, the appointments, but in a way it seems as if it could be a dream that really isn't going to happen.  When that call finally comes and says it is going to happen, the emotions fly!  First I cried, know that this is going to change my life, then I laughed because the excitement is so real!  I have been pacing.  I have looked at myself in the mirror and tried to imagine what I will look like in a month, in a year.  I already feel thinner just knowing!! 

It has been a rough year for me.  I have had problems with my heart rhythm since 2007, but controlled it with medication.  At the end of 2009, the medication wasn't working anymore.  I was sent to an electrophysiologist and he tried several different meds that just wouldn't control the rhythm.  I had a cardiac catherer ablation on June 7th that didn't work.  It just seemed to get worse and worse, and I felt so tired all the time.  So my doctor sent me to another hospital and another doctor, and it was performed again on August 24th.  It worked this time and I feel absolutely wonderful and have so much more energy.  With that behind me, I could concentrate on getting the WLS approved.  Now I am finally here and I can't wait to have this behind me also.
